Chase Ink Preferred In-branch 100k Offer Will Begin March 12th

Rumor mill post, but a rumor worth spreading!

Multiple souces have reported that Chase will begin an in-branch offer of its new Ink Preferred card with 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points beginning March 12th. If a true, this is an extremely lucrative offer, 2ok more points than the current 80k offer to be exact, and a play for Chase to get not just the personal card market (see Chase Sapphire Reserve) but also the small business segment.

Here are the details of the card:

  • 3x points per $1 spent on the first $150,000 in combined purchases on travel, shipping purchases, internet, cable and phone services, advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines each account anniversary year
  • 1x points per $1 spent on all other purchases

Stay tuned of confirmations of this offer on the blog. The good news, is anyone can have a business! Even if you don’t have one, you can get started today with nearly anything. For example, I have a re-selling business where I purchase exclusive sneakers when they release at stores and sell them on Craigslist. I don’t have any employees, and nearly 0 revenue, but this was good enough to get me nearly every Chase business credit card on the market.

And yes, this, like all Chase cards now (except for the Chase Ritz Carlton Visa Infinite Card) are affected by the 5/24 rule.

Stay tuned, and happy travel hacking!
